25 Apr Only One Shot.
Living in NYC has always been on my before-I-die list. I’m not sure you’ll call a month ‘living’ in NYC, but hey, I’ll take it! The first time I landed in that magical city, I felt an energy I had never experienced before.
Years passed. The job led me to places like Birmingham, Houston and back to Atlanta. Marriage to a husband who wanted a small town versus a bigger city.
Then came three wonderful children and their lives took over my self. Oh, and the dogs. Needless to say, I never got there.
Knowing I was soon to become an empty nester, I couldn’t wait to jump back into the business I so dearly loved. But I needed to re-market myself in a very creative, bold, and unusual way.
So, guys, I’m finally doing it. I’m reSoulin’ my dancing shoes, getting ready to dance through the second part of my life. My dream finally coming true.
I came across this wonderful project called the the “Before I die I want to…” It was created by Nicole Kenney and ks rivers and was inspired by, of all things, the death of the Polaroid.
I highly suggest you slow down for a minute or two, look through their web pages . . . think about your dream, and start making plans to do it! As they say, ‘Enjoy life, you only have one shot!’
See their 3-minute documentary, also.
