The Lily, a publication of The Washington Post
I was thrilled when The Lily included my article in “We Were Mesmerized,” stories about 10 women who remember the moon landing.
Oprah’s Lifeclass with Cindy Crawford
Yes, that crazy walk across NYC has brought all kinds of surprises. The latest? Harpo Productions invited me to be a Skype-in guest on a Oprah’s LifeClass live cast show, hosted by Cindy Crawford. Just imagine when I got the call. I thought for sure it was a friend playing a joke on me. Click to listen.

Huffington Post: My View on The Louvre
I was quite honored that Huffington Post selected my very first submission to feature on their front page of “Living Fearlessly.” The editor said to me, “That’s a really big deal!” Thank you, Huffington Post, for covering my Paris walk. Read more.
I was honored to be one of 30 artists awarded a 2018 residency at the Hambidge Center, one of the first artist communities in the United States. Can you imagine sitting in 600 acres of nature trails, meadows, waterfalls, wild flowers and crisp, clean mountain air–in the Blue Ridge Mountains–and writing uninterrupted for three weeks? This gave me the sanctuary of time and space I need to finalize my manuscript. What a gift!
New Orleans, You Captured My Heart
I was one of 27 well-connected individuals from across the country chosen to attend NOLAbound, an all expense paid program to assess the status of New Orleans as a model of new business progress and thinking. In March of 2012, we explored the city and shared our unfiltered impressions of the city’s renaissance through our social channels. A documentary of our group’s findings was released in Fall 2012. (A collaborative effort of New Orleans Downtown Development District, Greater New Orleans, Inc., and The Idea Village – funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration.)
